Join us for our forthnighty workdays at Garthorne Road Nature Reserve, where we come together to preserve and protect this beautiful natural space in London. This event is a fantastic opportunity to connect with nature, meet like-minded individuals, and make a positive impact on the environment.

Date: Second and Fourth saturday of each month (until March) then Second saturday of each month

Time: 11am -3pm

The 23rd March workday will be at the earlier time of 10am- 1pm only as we are opening the reserve to the public as part of the Happier Outdoor Festival.

Location: Beadnell Road, London, SE23 1AA

Whether you're a seasoned conservationist or simply interested in lending a helping hand, everyone is welcome to participate. We'll be engaging in various activities such as planting trees, clearing pathways, surveying/montioring speceis and maintaining the reserve's biodiversity.

By getting involved in these workdays, you'll not only contribute to the preservation of Garthorne Road Nature Reserve but also learn valuable skills and gain knowledge about the local flora and fauna. It's a great chance to enjoy the outdoors, get some exercise, and have fun while making a difference.

Limited bike locking available: If you’re cycling, be aware that we have restrictied spaces for bike locking.

Nearest railway station - Honor Oak Park (10 mins walk): The closest railway station is Honor Oak Park, which is a short 10-minute walk away.

Buses:

Honor Oak Park: You can catch buses P4 and P12 from Honor Oak Park, both of which are just a 10-minute walk away.

Brockley Rise: Buses 122, 171, and 172 stop at Brockley Rise, which is also a 10-minute walk from the location.

Stanstead Road: Buses 122 and 185 serve Stanstead Road, and it’s another 10-minute walk from there.

Parking available in nearby streets: If you’re driving, there is parking available in the surrounding streets.
