Early signs of carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning can resemble common illnesses such as food poisoning, viral infections, or fatigue. Symptoms include headaches, dizziness, breathlessness, nausea, loss of consciousness, tiredness, chest or stomach pains, erratic behaviour, and visual problems.

The Gas Safe Register is the official gas registration body for the UK, Isle of Man, and Guernsey. By law, all gas engineers must be on the Gas Safe Register to work legally on gas appliances.
