About this event

The new wave of American death metal needs a breakout album, and ‘Dark Superstition’ is it. Gatecreeper’s third full-length - recorded at God City Studios with Kurt Ballou of Converge - sees the Arizona death metal specialists carving out their own path. The band’s first album for Nuclear Blast is more concise, melodic and memorable than anything they’ve done in the past.

Their self-titled 2014 EP established instant credibility as purveyors of the old-school form. The band signed with Relapse, releasing their full-length debut, ‘Sonoran Depravation’ in 2016, landing them a 2017 tour with Cannibal Corpse and Power Trip. In 2019, they unveiled the ripping, ‘Deserted’, landing at #3 on Decibel’s top 40 end of year list. When the pandemic ended, they joined Obituary and Municipal Waste on tour.

Now the band are back with their third album and their first Bristol headline since their sold out summer show of 2022. Also featuring fellow US death metallers, 200 Stab Wounds and US thrash/crossover outfit, Enforced, this is the ultimate halloween death metal experience, not to be missed!
