About this event

GCED 4 Zimbos: Becoming Global Citizens from the Inside Out

A Transformative Learning Experience for Zimbabwean Youth (Ages 17–27)

Are you a young person in Zimbabwe ready to make sense of your place in the world and shape it for the better? Are you a parent seeking a safe and intentional space where your child can develop into an emotionally literate, socially aware, and community-minded adult?

This GCED 4 Zimbos program at the Friendship Bench Hub promotes self-discovery, social connection, and personal agency. Designed specifically for young people navigating life in today’s world, our hybrid program provides a space to explore who you are, what you feel, and how you can make a meaningful mark—both locally and globally.

What Learners Will Explore:

Who am I, really? What does it mean to be Zimbabwean and a global citizen?

How can I process/express what I feel and create a values-driven life with empathy and awareness?

How do I turn frustration, confusion, or pain into creativity, courage, and connection?

Parents Can Expect:

A moderated safe space for emotional growth and resilience

Tools that improve communication, empathy, and decision-making

Practical, real-world projects that bring out leadership, creativity, and purpose
