Event description

Description

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is responsible for welfare, pensions and child maintenance policy. As the UK’s biggest public service department it administers the State Pension and a range of working age, disability and ill health benefits to around 20 million claimants and customers.

Come and meet the people delivering campaigns, and hear how DWP is reshaping its reputation with its customers and the wider public. The marketing campaign teams will explain how DWP’s strategy to dispel myths about the services the department provides is finding traction, including the implementation of Universal Credit.

You’ll also learn how DWP is working to promote the good work delivered by Jobcentre colleagues each and every day, to help people from all areas of society understand the many services and support available to them.

The session will look at how customer case studies are being used to change people’s perceptions of DWP, demonstrating first hand through video how DWP customers are benefiting from the support of jobcentre colleagues.

You’ll be able to ask questions to a panel of campaign experts about how to plan and implement campaigns to maximise behaviour change.
