Event description

Description

Register now for our next GCS part-time event on Tuesday 11th February 12-2pm, in London, to discuss part-time working with our panel, and meet colleagues from across GCS.

Our event is in two parts:

12-1pm: you'll have the opportunity to hear from GCS colleagues who work part-time or manage part-time team, and ask any questions you have – whether you’re looking to move to part-time, or job-sharing; interested in how you go for promotional opportunities; or how to get the work-life balance that works for you and your organisation.

Join the discussion with our event panel, which will include:

  • Emily Tofield, Director of Communications, Ministry of Justice;
  • Tess Tinker, strategic communications and campaigns, Department for Education;
  • Tom Miles, internal communications, Department for Transport
  • Amie Whittle, campaigns, Home Office

For those interested in job-sharing do stay on from 1-2pm when we'll be breaking out into groups, with the oppotunity for those who job-share or are interested in job-sharing to meet and chat with others (your children are welcome to join this part of the event); and then others have the opportunity to network and discuss part-time working with others in small groups.

If there are particular topics or issues you’d like us to cover do email Sara.Vogt@justice.gov.uk and we will factor them in.

If you cannot attend the event in person you can watch via livestream. To get the link email email George.Durston@justice.gov.uk

If you are interested in joining the network and attending future events, you can join our community on Basecamp. You can join by emailing Sara Vogt (sara.vogt@justice.gov.uk) our details, putting the phrase ‘part-time network’ in the email header.

See you there!

Sara
