About this event

Join us on Thursday 12th November between 10:00-11:30am for a free, interactive webinar where you’ll get tips on

This is the fourth OASIS training session as part of the GCS South East Communicators Forum, but you won’t have had to attend previous events to take part in this one.

During the webinar, we will be going over the ‘S’ in OASIS - Strategy. To bring the theory to life, we’ll be joined by fantastic speakers from Barking and Dagenham Council and the Coast To Capital LEP.

The Coast to Capital Communications and Marketing team is responsible for leading on a range of strategic campaigns; from increasing the profile of the organisation and promoting individual funding streams and projects, to encouraging businesses to access support from its Growth Hub. The team will cover how they work together to develop and deliver different approaches in a complex operating environment, whilst being agile and responsive given significant uncertainty which makes it difficult to plan.

Sam Hodges and Faye Laker from Barking and Dagenham Council Communications team, will be sharing the councils ‘Lost Hours’ campaign, which aimed to tackle the issue of serious youth violence in the borough. The innovative integrated campaign, incorporated an impactful borough-wide advertising campaign, along with digital content focused on a short film.

The session will take place on Zoom, and we will send attendees joining details prior to the event.

We hope to see you online!
