As a valued employer of Glasgow Caledonian University students, we are delighted to invite you to attend our Virtual Nursing Recruitment Fair. This is an excellent opportunity for organisations who are looking to meet nursing students, for FREE!

With bookings closing at 12 noon on Friday 28th January and only a limited number of booths available, book today to avoid disappointment.

We welcome interest from organisations of all sizes, from the NHS and private sector, and we are pleased to offer the event to all employers free of charge.

Why should you book?

This fair gives you a chance to promote roles to all of our nursing students in one day, and will help you to attract quality applications.

The Zoom platform allows you to interact live with prospective candidates and chat with them via text messaging.

The Glasgow Caledonian University Careers Service will support you to create your employer profile and set you up with clear instructions on how to use the platform and make the most out of its functionality.

How will the virtual jobs fair work?

Employer Booths:

You will be allocated your own Employer Booth for the duration of the event, where you can:

Simply be available to provide information and answer candidates questions.

Run short information videos or power point presentations of around 20 minutes in duration– this should allow you to deliver information about your organisation/opportunities to students in a structured manner.

More information on setting up videos and presentations will be provided when you have completed your event registration.

Student Engagement:

Students will have the option to enter any Employer Booth of their choice throughout the duration of the event.

They will be sent your company profile and marketing information in advance – captured by us when you register your attendance at the event.

Chat Facility:

Each Employer Booth will have access to a chat facility, where students can ask questions and leave comments via text messaging.

We recommend that a second company representative be available to manage the chat facility to ensure the smooth running of your engagement with candidates.

Registering your attendance:

Please note, only one registration needs to be made per employer, you do not require individual registrations for each member of your organisation attending.

We will send you the GCU Zoom link and ID required to access the event in due course - please share this link with members of your organisation attending the event along with you.
