Event description

Description

IT governance is a hot topic as law surrounding GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) is set to change in May 2018.

GDPR is a regulation that requires businesses to protect the personal data and privacy of EU citizens for transactions that occur within EU member states - non-compliance could cost companies dearly.

KSP tenant, Entity Group is here to help.

Entity Group helps businesses exploit the value of information and deliver competitive advantage through better data management. If you have an information management or data governance issue or upcoming project, they can help. This includes GDPR and other data management related regulatory challenges.

Entity will be running a £FREE seminar to help you understand the law changes and what you need to do in order to protect your business.

At Entity Group we see GDPR as an opportunity for organisations acting in the role of data controllers and data processors to build trust with data subjects (the individuals whose data they hold) to become truly customer/citizen/employee centric.

Please join this session for:

  • An overview of the ICO 12 step GDPR compliance process in the context of data management
  • A more detailed look at consent mastering
  • Information on GDPR data maturity assessments including:
    • Target state design for your organisation
    • A roadmap of how to get there
  • A summary of the opportunities available for organisations who can take control of their strategic data assets

Refreshments will be provided.
