- A brief overview of data protection law and the obligations placed on any business that process people’s personal data;
- The importance of understanding what personal data your business processes;
- A series of exercises to consider what types of personal data your business or department processes, where it comes from, and who you share it with;
- What your need and purpose is for the data, so that you can apply the appropriate lawful justifications;
- How to categorise your data, and how to consider potential risks involved or the need for carrying out impact assessments.
