Event description

Description

**If you are not a VAT registered organisation please select Individual rather than Business when registering for this event in the Registration Type & Tax Receipt Information section**

General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a new framework for data protection laws in Europe that comes into force on the 25th May 2018 and will affect how organisations can collect, handle and store their data.

Even though it can sound scary, there are some practical things you can do to ensure your organisation is ready.

This hands-on interactive session is designed to give you essential information about how the changes may affect your organisation and give you an idea of the actions you will need to take to ensure compliance with the regulation and with Data Protection generally.

You will also go away with a number of resources to reference and guide you as you implement your action plan.

Please note: Due to limited availability no more than 2 places can be booked per organisation.
