Why: May 2018 is the implementation date for the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). What do the new rules mean for your organisation and your customers. With high penalties for non-compliance effective incident management is key to responding to incidents involving data. We aim to address both these topics in detail.

The legal bits on GDPR. Christy Newman from ARM will be providing an insight into the benefits and pitfalls.

The challenges of implementing GDPR within local government. Scott Sammons from Essex County Council provides an insight which could help all organisations.

How to Command a Crisis and Enhance your Business Reputation. An interactive exercise facilitated by Russ Timpson, CEO of Crisisboardroom Ltd. In this workshop, Russ will give insights into effective crisis command and key actions to take when a crisis hits, drawing on his experience from 300 crisis simulations conducted around the World in the last 3 years. Delegates will also get first-hand experience working with the latest Crisisboardroom® Kit.

Panel discussion on the topics of the day led by Josh Subair from Blue Chip.

Refreshments Registration and refreshments will be available from 09:15 and our event will begin at 09:45. Lunch is also provided.

Cost A charge of £20+VAT per delegate is payable at the time of booking to cover the cost of hiring this prestigious venue, plus lunch and refreshments throughout the day.
