GDPR Webinars For The Clinical Trials Industry
Event Information
About this event
CGX Training are excited to partner with data and security consultant Jo Brianti to deliver monthly webinars dedicated to everything GDPR and Clinical Trials.
The webinars will begin in April and take place on Zoom. Each webinar will last around 60 – 90 minutes, with Jo leading the sessions. She is here to demystify GDPR and empower Clinical Trial Professionals and companies with the knowledge and confidence they’ll need for their own GDPR processes and policies.
GDPR compliance is absolutely crucial for the efficacy of Clinical Trials. It refers to the General Data Protection Regulation, a legal framework that sets guidelines for the collection and processing of personal information from individuals who live in the European Union (EU) and the UK. If you’re found to be in breach of GDPR, you and your company could face serious reputational damage that could compromise your chance at bids, tenders and securing quality trial candidates. That’s why Jo candid expertise will be vital for everyone and anyone working in Clinical Trials.
The sessions will cover the basics of GDPR and how it relates to Clinical Trials. They will then evolve the sessions to cater for the specific questions and needs of the participants. We’re conscious that you might not be comfortable speaking openly about your business amongst other firms. That’s why we’ll be offering tailored, one-on-one sessions dedicated to your business and its GDPR infrastructure upon request.
Jo Brianti had this to say:
I’m really looking forward to working with CGX to deliver these webinars and I hope they can alleviate some of the pressures and anxieties Clinical Trials companies may have. I’m here to make GDPR easier, and dare I say, even fun!
CGX are committed to training CTPs to the very highest standard, and GDPR awareness has to be a part of a CTP’s skillset. Alongside the GDPR training, there are accreditations that will help organisations demonstrate their compliance, Cyber Essentials, IASB governance and their business processes, all of which can help with bids and tenders. We can discuss these in the webinars too.”
