Event description

Description

The fundraising world is changing. As May 2018 approaches, more clarity is needed around the issues of consent, legitimate interest, screening and profiling and there is no one size fits all approach to preparing for GDPR.

RiF are hosting this seminar to bring together speakers from across the sector to show how different organisations are adapting to achieve compliance.

Whether you already have a firm plan in place or are just starting out, this half day seminar will give you the opportunity to get practical advice and engage in an open forum to ensure the role of the researcher remains relevant and at the core of successful fundraising.

PROGRAMME

Nicola Williams from Factary will set the scene in her opening remarks followed by a talk and Q&A with each of our speakers. Laura Owen from RiF’s Data Protection Working Group will then lead a panel discussion.

Refreshments will be provided during a networking break.
