Description

A workshop facilitated by the University of Gloucestershire ERDF funded GRIP project (Gloucestershire Research and Innovation Project) focussing on Innovation in the county. This workshop will be hosted by Antonia Noble from Carter Noble.

The General Data Protection Regulations come into force in May 2018. You need to comply with GDPR if you use personal data as part of your business.
In short - what you need to do ….
■ Map all the data you process and identify legal reasons for
processing it
■ Put in place systems to pick up data subject rights
■ Put in place a privacy policy that identifies exactly what the
business does with data (and a link to your website)
■ Only keep data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purpose for
which it was processed
■ Check security: where the data is stored must comply with EU rules
■ Check contracts - where applicable
■ Register with ICO
