Event description

Description

From 25th May 2018, the use of individuals’ personal data will be governed primarily by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This workshop will explain what that means for cinemas and other film exhibitors - from those using box office systems such as Ticketsolve or Eventbrite to small organisations keeping paper based records.

Rhiannon Davis, from The Audience Agency will be delivering this event. She will explain what GDPR is, how it will affect your organisation and how to prepare for it.

Although the sessions are structured, the emphasis is very much on making sure that the session flows around the areas that organisations highlight as being most important to them during the session, with questions very much encouraged.

This FREE event is suitable for everyone in your organisation who has access to, collects or handles data in any way.

Your organisation must be a member of Film Hub Midlands to attend, you can register here.

If you can't make it - Film Hub South West are holding a GDPR workshop on Friday 20 April, more details are here.
