Speaker: Karla Jobling (CEO of Beechermadden)

Topic: Cyber security salary trends throughout 2017

After a few years of exponential salary growth in cyber security, Karla talks about the changes that 2017 has brought. You will learn what you can expect to earn during your cyber career and what areas are set for strong salary growth.

Speaker: Michael Everall (Head of Security Operations at 10x Banking)

Topic: The CISO’s Perspective

Information Security is being progressively mandated as a core business function and deliverable, driven in many cases by law and regulation. As this continues the role has taken on a more direct business focus and frequently direct client interaction. This is taking the role into other areas other than classic infoSec and as such increases the traditional dynamic tension between IS and Internal Audit. The differences between effective security delivery for the business and review and report for weakness or failure to adhere to requirements.

Speaker: Gerald Sommariya (Country Manager UK & Ireland)

Topic: If You Could Turn Back Time

In the world of increasing cyber-attacks and the recent high-profile events which have disabled major corporations, are you concerned that your IT is vulnerable? In this innovative talk from Reduxio you will learn how employing this unique technology can eliminate concerns around data loss due to cyber-attack. Reduxio’s ground-breaking BackDating™ technology will give you the ability to wind back time and instantly recover from cyber security data attacks.

Over the last two decades in the field of data storage there has really been no fundamental innovation around data protection. Typically, this legacy technology relies on snapshots and traditional third-party software back-up solutions. This is cumbersome to manage and is a reactive approach to data protection. Reduxio’s mission is to turn this approach on its head and be proactive rather than reactive when it comes to data protection.

Can you continue to trust traditional approaches to cyber-security? Come and discover how BackDating makes snapshots obsolete and enables you to quickly recover data from any point in time, even after a ransomware attack, effectively giving you the ability to turn back time.
