'GEAR' ING UP FOR CHRISTMAS (Women+ DIY Workshop)

🎄🚴‍♀️ Gear’ing Up for Christmas! 🚴‍♀️🎄

This December, join us for a festive spin on our Women+ DIY sessions!

We’ll be celebrating the season with an evening of bike chat, gears demystified, and plenty of festive fun. Ever wondered: What exactly are gears? How do they work? What’s indexing all about? We’ll cover the basics together in a friendly, supportive space — no tools required!

Alongside some two-wheeled wisdom, expect:

✨ A cycling-themed quiz (with fab prizes!)

✨ Party games and festive cheer

✨ Nibbles and drinks to keep the energy flowing

✨ The chance to celebrate women+ cycling together at the end of the year

Prizes include: bike hire, vouchers, and other festive goodies 🎁

👉 Open to all Women+ and girls aged 14 and upwards.

(Under 18s must be accompanied by a guardian.)

Come along, learn a little, laugh a lot, and get in the Christmas spirit with your cycling community.

(You don't need your bike for this one - we will offer an additional practical, hands-on session in the new year)

Gear Chat: The Basics – 17:10

• What are gears and how do they work?
• What’s indexing and why does it matter?
• Small tweaks you can make while out riding
• No tools required — just clear explanations and friendly chat ⚙️🚴‍♀️

Christmas Quiz & Games – 17:40

• Cycling-themed quiz with festive trivia 🎄
• Party-style games with a bike twist
• Prizes to be won, including bike hire, vouchers & festive goodies 🎁

Wrap-Up & Prize Draw – 18:20

• Celebrate the winners
• Raise a final festive toast with your cycling community 🥂

Women+ includes anyone identifying as female, trans or non-binary

Under 18's to be accompanied by parent/guardian please.
