GELM Foundations Training, January 2026

The GELM Foundations Training is delivered by one of KDVI's Associates, Alicia Cheak. It will take place over two sessions (on 20th January from 12 to 13:30 Uk time & 27th January from 12:00 to 14:00).

Designed for talent and leadership development professionals, executive coaches and consultants, our GELM® training will help you:

• Understand the theoretical basis and development of the GELM, administer the 360 and read and interpret the result
• Connect feedback to reflection, goal setting and action planning, aimed at transforming leadership effectiveness
• Apply KDVI’s psychodynamic framework to trigger deeper conversations
• Gain hands on experience in drawing out actionable insights from GELM reports to unlock clients' leadership potential

The course includes:

A starter kit including presentation slides, reading material, a certificate and GELM Foundations badge for use on email signature, website, LinkedIn etc.

This course is ICF accredited. By participating you gain 6 CCE credits (RD: 2 hr CC: 4 hrs)

The Global Executive Leadership Mirror (GELM) 360 development tool is the result of decades of academic research and real-life experience of working with leaders in organisations of all shapes and sizes, investigating the behaviour patterns of effective global executives.

The questionnaire, which consists of 110 statements and has undergone validation by an external psychometrician to ensure rigour, validity and reliability, was developed to help executives evaluate their performance in carrying out the twelve primary tasks of global leaders. It also covers several indicators such as life stressors and coping mechanisms to determine their ability to manage stress in their life and to ensure sustained leadership performance.
