Group for Education in Museums (GEM) champions excellence in heritage learning to improve the education, health and wellbeing of the general public. GEM is for everyone interested in learning through museums and heritage.

GEM East Midlands invites learning, museum and teaching professionals in the East Midlands to its virtual coffee morning on Tuesday 23rd March at 10am - 11am. This coffee morning is for anyone working or volunteering in a heritage or school setting, who is interested in learning through museums and heritage.

During the coffee morning you’ll meet GEM East Midlands' representatives. We’ll share information about the work of GEM along with its plans to support the museum and heritage sector in the East Midlands.

This month we will be joined by Sarah Hartshorne from Museum Development East Midlands who will be giving us an update on their work and how they are supporting museums.

This meeting will be held via Zoom. You will be sent a joining link 2 hours before the event is scheduled to start.
