Hear from Amy Van Zyl (Royal Museums Greenwich) and Naranee Ruthra-Rajan (National Saturday Club) where they'll be talking about the National Saturday Club and opportunities to get involved in London and the South East.
The National Saturday Club is a well-established and extensive network of further and higher education institutions, industry and cultural partners who work collaboratively to engage 13–16-year-olds from diverse backgrounds and underrepresented communities nationwide. The programme’s educational framework is designed to support the next generation, building skills, widening access, nurturing well-being and introducing pathways to further study and careers.
Royal Museum Greenwich has run an Art & Design Saturday Club since 2017 as part of the youth programme at the National Maritime Museum. The club offers a wide variety of 2D and 3D art practices, trips to other cultural venues, with particular focus on working with young people with access and mental health support needs.
