"Gender affects where you get in academia" - Athena Swan SALC PGR event

The School of Arts, Languages and Cultures is asking PGRs about about gender equality in SALC as part of its commitment to Athena Swan, a programme dedicated to tackling gender inequalities at all levels of academia.
Come and share views on the different ways gender has affected, and continues to affect us both as SALC PGRs and as current/future academics.
Date of Event: Thursday 8th December 2016 Time: 3.30pm – 5.00pm
Short presentation by Dr. Darcey Gillie on gender and career management, followed by PGR group discussions in the Conference Room. Wine, soft drinks and refreshments reception in the Atrium
