Gender and Leadership Communication
The crucial role that gender plays as a barrier preventing women from breaking into higher positions of power in workplaces is well documented globally across every professional group. Here at LiPP, we have a series of practical consultancy and training packages underpinned by cutting-edge academic research, designed to help make a real difference to bringing about change in workplace practices.
The way that we communicate with one another in workplaces encodes a great deal of information about our professional identities, including our gender. Based on 20 years of robust academic research into gender and professional communication, our innovative Linguistic Profiling approach enables participants to critically assess the role that gender is playing in terms of workplace performance, job satisfaction and professional development.
Directly aligned with the most recent legal developments in equality and diversity legislation, our training and consultancy services help teams, organisations and individuals recognise the crucial role that language plays in maintaining gender stereotypes and creating barriers that affect how women are evaluated and judged in the workplace.
