Join us for an evening of dialogue about the links between psychotherapeutic approaches and Shakespeare's plays.

In their joint presentation, Gender and Power: a Shakespearean Dialogue, Gwyn Daniel and Margot Waddell will discuss representations of gender and relationships in a number of Shakespeare's best known plays. They will comment on some selected scenes and reflect on the perspectives- psychoanalytic and systemic- that they each bring to their understanding of Shakespeare's drama. Actor Naomi Frederick will also read out extracts of Shakespeare's work, and join the discussion.

Following the presentation there will be a wine reception and launch of Gwyn's book, Family Dramas: Intimacy, Power and Systems in Shakespeare's Tragedies
