Gender Diversity Within Organizations: Spotlight on Change

Stephanie runs Inclusivity Partners, a company set up to support professional women who are seeking high-quality flexible careers, including returnees to the workplace, and assist organisations with their Diversity agenda. Stephanie will share her experience of resourcing and diversity and how she supports companies in embracing diverse talent through encouraging and enabling women returners to work.
Marie Bradley, Head of BA and QA at a leading Digital Agency, Tribal Worldwide London. Marie has worked in traditionally male dominated industries/careers for nearly all of her working life spanning 20+ years, tarting as the only female developer in an IT department at a haulage company to heading up business analysis and testing teams in Marketing and Digital agencies. Marie will talk about surviving and thriving as a leader in a male-dominated world.
Professor Sharon Mavin
Sharon is Director at Roehampton Business School. Sharon has researched widely on women and leadership and the mis-representation of women in the media. Sharon has also participated in the Women On Boards, Board Apprenticeship Initiative . Sharon will share her personal reflections on this experience of participating in this initiative and how lessons learnt could be transferred into organizational practice.
On the eve of International Women’s day, we will be holding a panel debate to explore what we as HR professionals can do to enable change within organizations to create more inclusive workplaces; workplaces where women at all stages of their career can thrive and their contribution is recognised and valued.
The theme for this year’s International Women’s Day is ‘#BeBoldForChange ’, so we want to speak to this agenda by giving you to the opportunity engage in a lively debate with our panel of speakers who each have something interesting to contribute to the ‘#BeBoldForChange’ agenda.
We are delighted to welcome a diverse range of speakers who will be able to provide insights into some of the issues around women and diversity, from attraction and resourcing, to the experience of women in Leadership.
