This seminar style workshop provides a space for attendees to explore creative methods for gender exploration.
Based on Santi's recent publication, A DIY GUIDE TO GENDER HACKING, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about this new work, to learn introductory queer theory, and to brainstorm their own gender hacking tools via zine making.
The workshop outline is as follows:
An introduction to A DIY GUIDE TO GENDER HACKING
A few theories for exploring gender
Zine Making
A Q+A forum
Sharing circle
Please bring craft supplies to your online session. Paper and a pen is enough. Coloured markers, stickers and magazine/newspaper cut outs are encouraged.
This is a session for anyone questioning their gender and/or for art/theory newbies.
* A zoom link will be sent to you via email the day before the workshop
