Event description

Description

If someone assumes how you'll behave based on your anatomy does it spin you into a rage or is the idea so absurdly normal to you that you've never given it a moment's thought?

Whatever your gender, join multi award nominated Edalia/Edward Day in this kickass poetry writing workshop.

A safe space to explore ideas about gender and identity, we'll look at a range of page poems and spoken word performances in different styles then use them as starting points for our your writing.

Bring a pen and paper and an inquisitive mind.

Suitable for all abilities and ages.
Duration: 2 hours
Price: £5
Free for trans/non-binary people.

This workshop is part of a larger project, Too Pretty To Punch, a mix of spoken word and digital comedy cabaret, performing at the Alma Tavern Theatre, Bristol on the 22nd of April.
