About the workshop

Brilliant course with Joshua and would love to do more of these next year, if possible!

In this workshop, we look at the significant features of the standardised American sound all casting directors are looking for. Come prepared to try things out and learn the various ‘ways in’ to sounding authentically American.

About Josh Mathieson (he/him) is a voice coach and director and trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. He is currently resident on Agatha Christie's 'Witness for the Prosecution' at London's County Hall. Josh wrote and directed the award-winning short film 'Things That Grow' (2020), teaches voice and text on the MA Acting course at ArtsEd and has adapted five classic novels for the stage.
