Please join our free of charge General Practice - a chosen pathway session. The third session in the Ambitions Revisited series which will be based around Ambition Five.

The session:

This dedicated GP session is especially for those who are early career or perhaps not sure where they want to take their GP role in the future.

We will be joined by a expert panel with experience in large and small animal general practice, a vet student sitting on the panel along with Linda Prescott-Clements who will talk about finding your niche, flexible working, positive learning culture.

Catherine Hemingway, our RCVS Academy Head, will be showing how to use the Academy to get free, quality CPD that is bitesize and a way to start that learning journey.

Veterinary Clinical Careers Pathway (VCCP) Chair Professor Nick Cooper will also share his perspective from his human health medical educators background.

We will be taking questions in advance and during the session, so it’s a great opportunity to find out more about RCVS and more generally.

We know it’s a challenging time so hopefully this will be some informal CPD that people can find useful and perhaps inspire some thoughts.

Speakers:

The session will be chaired by RCVS Director of the Advancement of the Professions, Angharad Belcher. The panel will include Jenny Millington MRCVS, Ami Sawran MRCVS, Linda Prescott-Clements (RCVS Director of Education), Laura Huntenburg (Vet Student) and Prof. Nick Cooper.
