Join us for our first Supper Club with a 3-course meal cooked by our Cornish local boy, Darren Kerley. Darren's a friend and a great chef, with many a story about his escapades as a chef abroad at locally here in Cornwall.

Drinks outside by the firepit, then into our cosy wooden shack for appetisers, roasted monkfish and a dessert.Darren trained under Marco Pierre White (French Michelin star chef), but likes to keep things rustic and local. Perfect for us.

We have seating for 12 so it's warm and intimate. Bring a friend or come by yourself, Genki is always sociable and welcoming.

Frequently asked questions

Can I park at Genki?

We have 3 parking spaces, but as these are limited please contact me for your space. Priority will be given if anyone has a specific issue, so please let me know.

Is there another option for the main course?

We are getting fresh local fish from our local fishmonger, so roasted monkfish is the only main course for our first Supper Club. We will be hopefully doing others so keep an eye open on social media.

Can I just come by myself if I don't know anyone?

Yes! I am setting these up as I love the idea of something to do on a wet autummy evening where people can meet other people and feel at home. The tables are pushed together and our infamous Tapas Nights last year were really fun.

What type of people come?

A huge mix of people from single locals to couples down on holiday. The age group varies as well, so there isn't a 'type' - beyond people who like good food in a sociable and cosy little boutique cafe!

Can I bring my own drink?

No, but we offer a full bar with great house wine by the glass, or bottles of wine or sparkling wine, lager and beer. If you haven't tried our Genki Blue G&T, now's the time!

What's the dress code?

It really doesn't matter! Some poeple love to dress up for any occassion, others like to be warm and comfortable.
