Event Information
About this Event
Expect to explore some breathing and meditation/relaxation practices, and postures to help us develop our balance, strength and flexibility. We use props including a chair to support ourselves as needed. This session is aimed at those who would like a gentler, more supported practice.
I will continue to offer classes online as well as in the studio, so you can choose which option suits you best. Please use the eventbrite link on this page to book for in person studio classes, or email me on kymatayoga@gmail.com to book online classes.
Studio classes
Wear comfortable clothing that you can move easily in and any extra layers you would like to keep you warm and cosy for savasana relaxation at the end of class. Please bring along any blankets, cushions and any extra props you may wish to use such as blocks. Mats and chairs will be available at the studio and steam cleaned in between classes. You will be asked to sanitise hands and wear a mask on arrival, until you are on your mat and ready to start class. Class sizes will be capped at six, in order to give everyone plenty of space to practice safely. In-studio classes are £9, will need to be booked in advance using the eventbrite link on this page, and unfortunately I will not be able to offer refunds for late cancellations or no shows.
Online classes
Wear comfortable clothing that you can move easily in and any extra layers you would like to keep you warm and cosy for savasana relaxation at the end of class. You will need a chair, preferably without arms, and it will also be handy if you can have a couple of cushions and a blanket to hand. You don't need a special yoga mat, a camping mat, rug or carpet will do just fine if you don't have access to one.
Please email kymatayoga@gmail.com to reserve your virtual space, you'll then receive a zoom link and all the info you need to get you connected (it's really simple and you don't need to create an account if you don't want to). I'll be online from five minutes before the class start time and for up to five minutes afterwards, so we all have an opportunity to get ourselves set up, check in, say hi, ask any questions, and maybe share in a virtual cuppa. These classes are offered as a community class, so are free or donations based if you feel able to contribute at this time, payment can be made in advance via BACS or PayPal kymatayoga@gmail.com / @kymatayoga.
Alternatively, if you'd like to book a private one to one or small group class, online or in a suitable outdoor space, please get in touch 🙂
