About this event
Pause, Reflect, and Reconnect Through the Healing Power of Sound
Held in the peaceful setting of Wootton Village Hall, this evening will explore the soothing qualities of water through sound — with the rich, resonant tones of gongs, crystal bowls, monochord, and natural percussion instruments.
With gentle intention and spacious pacing, this session offers a unique opportunity to experience:
- The flowing textures of water-infused soundscapes
- A safe and supportive space to unwind, reflect, and reconnect
Inspired by the natural element of water — which represents calm, adaptability, and emotional clarity — this sound bath invites you to slow down, soften, and simply receive.
Whether you're new to sound healing or familiar with its benefits, this session is an ideal midweek pause to help settle your nervous system, release inner tension, and reconnect to your body's natural rhythms.
What to Expect:
🕊 You’ll lie down comfortably on your mat as the soothing sounds embrace and guide you inward.🕊 A calming environment for deep rest, reflection, and heart-centered healing.🕊 Time to quietly process and integrate the experience after the sound bath.🕊 A space for sound and stillness to lead the way.
What to Bring:
- A yoga mat, blankets, pillows, and anything else that makes you feel cozy and comfortable
- Extra layers to stay warm and a water bottle to stay hydrated. The hall can be cold during winter.
Why This Soundbath is Special
Wootton Village Hall’s wooden structure enhances the soundscape, allowing the tones and vibrations of the crystal bowls, monochord, and gong to fully resonate. Each instrument adds its own unique qualities:
- The crystal bowls create pure, high-frequency tones that promote calm and clarity.
- The monochord produces a deep, meditative drone, grounding and soothing the body.
- The gong delivers a powerful, dynamic range of vibrations, reaching deep into your being for profound release and transformation.
As you lie back in this serene space, you’ll feel the stress of daily life melt away. Let the vibrations wash over you, calming your mind and releasing tension from your body, all while surrounded by the beauty of the countryside.
🌊
This session is intentionally gentle and spacious, designed to support deep rest rather than overwhelm. All are welcome — no prior experience with sound or meditation is needed.
I look forward to welcoming you into this shared space of stillness, sound, and subtle transformation.

About Me
Hello, I'm Lily, a certified sound therapist with a deep passion for helping people reconnect with themselves through the healing power of sound. I studied with the British Academy of Sound Therapy and bring years of experience in creating safe, nurturing spaces for deep relaxation and emotional release.
My soundbaths are carefully designed to promote the deepest levels of relaxation, using gentle techniques and thoughtfully chosen intervals to support mental, emotional, and physical well-being. I weave together the sounds of crystal bowls, a monochord, a gong, and other therapeutic instruments to create a powerful, immersive sound experience.
In addition to group soundbaths, I also offer one-to-one sound therapy sessions tailored to individual needs. I also host free sound therapy sessions at my home in Whitfield for SEN parents and carers. As a parent of a special needs child myself, I know how vital it is to take time for self-care. These sessions are my way of giving back and creating a supportive space for those who often care for others before themselves.
Through sound, I aim to offer moments of peace, healing, and connection. I look forward to welcoming you to my upcoming sound bath sessions in the beautiful village of Wootton.

A sound bath is a meditative experience where participants are “bathed” in sound waves from instruments such as crystal bowls, monochords, and other soothing instruments. These sounds are designed to help your body and mind relax deeply, promoting a sense of peace, calm, and well-being.
Most people find sound baths to be deeply relaxing and rejuvenating. However, as with any meditative or therapeutic practice, a few people may feel slightly disoriented or emotional afterward due to the release of tension or emotional blockages. These feelings are part of the healing process.
