Gentoo Family Fun Day takes place on Monday 23 December from 10am to 3pm. The event will be split into various time slots between these times to manage capacity. This is a ticketed event, and timeslots must be booked in advance.

You can park for free using the Stadium of Light’s green or blue car parks.

There are regular bus services to and from Stadium Park, with a bus stop outside the front entrance to the Beacon. We are also based just a few minutes’ walk away from the Stadium of Light and St Peter’s (the closest of the two) Tyne and Wear Metro stops.

Yes, the Beacon of Light is fully accessible with lifts at the front and rear of the building.

Pushchairs are welcome. We are designating the area between the main entrance and indoor arena viewing gallery to store pushchairs at your own risk.
