This talk explores design and public policy in the age of AI, and how to move from projects and policies to institutions. He'll also share some of the key points from a book he's written - out next year - on lessons from public innovation around the world this century.

Speaker bio:

Geoff Mulgan is a professor at University College London, based in the engineering department, where he teaches courses on systems change, AI and government and other topics. He is a former head of the UK government Strategy Unit and head of policy in No 10; and is an adviser to many governments around the world. He has had a long involvement with design, including as a board member of the Design Council. His books include 'The Art of Public Strategy' and 'Big Mind'. His most recent book 'Another World is Possible' has recently been published in paperback.
