About this Event
A war-damaged veteran on a mission to self-destruct. A yachtswoman who risks everything to pull him back. And between them, an old boat with attitude in a page turner that leaves salt on your lips and a bruise on your heart’.
Geoffrey’s novel Draca, about a war-damaged veteran of Afghanistan, was launched in 2020. It was described by General Sir Peter Wall as ‘a cracking read’ and by General Sir Nick Parker as ‘a terrific and compelling story’. International book club ‘The Pigeonhole’ said ‘we love discovering gems like this’ after their readers gave outstanding reviews.
Geoffrey will tell the story behind the book, its path to publication, and his partnership with the veteran’s mental health charity Combat Stress. They receive half the royalties.
