A lecture on 'gentrification in the global city: London in the age of crisis' by Dr Oli Mould.
London is one of the world's global cities, but is experiencing a rampant housing crisis, homelessness and the loss of treasured cultural icons. All this is part of the process we call 'gentrification'. What this is though is difficult to define, and even more difficult to manage. This lecture explores London's current gentrification problem, and some of the people and groups that are resisting it.
Location: Queen's Lecture Theatre.
