Description

This study day will involve a tour of the site explaining the importance of the geology.

It will look at the SSSI site which features a great example of the sedimentary layer formed by a submarine landslide. The importance of Magnesium Limestone on specialist plant species and the biodiversity of the grasslands will be discussed. This will be followed by a trip to the top of the monument.

This event will be outdoors. No significant physical activity will take place. The tour involves walking and climbing steps.
