Event description

George and the Dragon (3rd & 4th Feb 2018)

A rip-roaring, laugh-a-minute adventure involving knights, a Princess, a dastardly villain, an evil bloodthirsty dragon and all the usual pantomime fun!

The Corpus Christi Pantomime Group welcome you to our 13th annual pantomime and take you way back in the midst of time to a time when Wokingham was but a small village and Dame Molly Mog ran the local hostelry.

Sir Render is most ineffective knight of the occasional octagonal table. Unaware that his lowly squire George could be the key to defeating the enraged explosive dragon, Emeraldblood. Join us in this traditional family pantomime as we sing, dance and wave our arms around in an attempt to distract the dragon that terrorizes our town.

Don’t forget we’ll be looking to you our audience to provide the much need sound effects with Boos & Hisses. There will be plenty of audience participation, songs to sing along to and huge amounts of laughter.

Our aim is to ensure that everyone leaves with a smile on their face.

Are there any booking fees to pay?

No. To ensure "what you see is what you pay" the ticket prices have been subsidised by the Parish Pantomime Group so that all processing fees from this sales site are absorbed within the price. You only pay £5 per ticket.

If you wish to make a donation to go towards the processing fees charged by this booking site you can do so at the ticket page.

Is there a discount for children?

There are no discounted tickets, but we've kept the same low ticket price for the pantomime as the last three years.

Can I buy my ticket on the door?

Yes, there are a limited number of "on the door" tickets available. Just identify yourself to the front of house team in the theatre foyer and they will assist you.

Are you supporting a charity this year?

This year we are supporting two charities: The Link Visiting Scheme Wokingham, and a national road safety charity: Brake.

The Link Visiting Scheme is a local charity serving older people in Wokingham Borough who are struggling with the serious impact of loneliness. Alongside weekly visits, The Link organise a variety of weekly activities and one-off events to connect people with one another and celebrate friendship! If you'd like to get involved or for more information: www.linkvisiting.org
