The Friends of Scayingham and Leppington present
George Hudson and all that Brass!
with music and storytelling by
The York Railway Institute Band and Chris Cade
Come and join us on Friday 23rd June at 7.30pm to a evening special performance by The York Railway Institute Band, and Chris Cade, Actor & Storyteller, portraying George Hudson ‘The Railway King’.
It promises to be a very enjoyable evening.
The event will be followed by a ‘Summer Supper’. Event tickets cost £14.00 per person (£12.50 in advance), Ticket price includes supper and a non alcoholic fruit punch. Children are free (under 12 years) when accompanied by an adult, and must have a ticket.
With our village benefiting from a railway heritage from George Hudson, "The Railway King", who was buried in Scrayingham, we are continuing with the railway theme for our event and we are excited to have the York Railway Institute Band, with Dr David Lancaster, Musical Director, performing in our lovely church.
Tickets will be available through this website, and also directly from members of The Friends of Scrayingham and Leppington or ordered via email to firstname.lastname@example.org
The Friends of Scayingham and Leppington look forward to welcoming you.
