THIS EVENT IS DELAYED TILL 11th OCTOBER

We are very sorry to announce that George is now having an operation on the week of 19th March, so we will sadly have to delay our event at the Anson rooms in Bristol till Thursday 11th October.

Please understand that your money is safe with Eventbrite and that we will be offering refunds up to four weeks before the event happens. We apologies for any inconvenience in the short term.

If you have purchased tickets through Eventbrite it is a very simple process to get a refund so please bear with us and decide what you want to do nearer the time.

Many thanks for your patience.

Our love and support goes to George and his family.

We look forward to seeing you all on 11th October.

The good news is we will soon be announcing a series of exciting and interactive social change events so stay connected with us on facebook.

THE EVENT

The event will consist of talks, group break outs and interactive discussions to really allow the audience to talk about their own issues with bringing about change. We will delve deeper into change at a local and national level offering expertise on reducing inertia, calls to action, social change and group facilitation.

George Monbiot is a British writer known for his environmental and political activism. He writes a weekly column for The Guardian, and is the author of a number of books, including Captive State: The Corporate Takeover of Britain (2000) and Feral: Searching for Enchantment on the Frontiers of Rewilding (2013).

Our host for the evening will be the amazing author and independent change maker Peter Macfadyen. Peter has been instrumental in helping to create some amazing community projects through his work with Britain's first independent town council. You can read more about Peters work at http://www.flatpackdemocracy.co.uk

Other speakers to be announced in January.
