Description

George Monbiot - Connecting the dots between climate emergency, consumerism and mental health.

George Monbiot will be returning to Bristol on 1st May for an interactive talk and discussion hosted by Bristol based environmental campaigner and TV presenter Natalie Fee.

This event will be delving deep into the connections around climate emergency, consumerism and mental health offering delegates practical solutions and advice in these challenging times.

This event will consist of a 90 minute interview with George hosted by Natalie followed by another 90 minutes of questions and answers from the audience.

George Monbiot's Biog

George is an author, Guardian columnist and environmental campaigner. His best-selling books include Feral: Rewilding the land, sea and human life and Heat: how to stop the planet burning; his latest is Out of the Wreckage: a new politics for an age of crisis. George cowrote the concept album Breaking the Spell of Loneliness with musician Ewan McLennan; his TED talk, How Wolves Change Rivers, has been viewed over 40m times.
Natalie Fee's Biog

Natalie is the founder of City to Sea, a non-profit organisation running award-winning campaigns to stop plastic pollution at source. Natalie won the Sheila McKechnie Award for Environmental Justice in 2017 for their #SwitchtheStick campaign, which successfully called on all UK retailers to make cotton bud stems out of paper — a move which is stopping over 400 tonnes of single-use plastic at source annually.

Tickets On Sale

We have decided to offer tickets on a 'Pay what you want basis'. We have set up a range of prices from £12 - £20 so people can pay what they feel works for them.

We also film and produce videos for these talks and offer the content free at a later date so we hope you will support us in paying a realistic ticket price that matches your earnings or savings so we can use better kit and invest more in our online videos.

We are offering 70 student tickets at only £10 each. We also have four hundred and fifty tickets ranging from £12 - £20.

If you love these events and videos you can also donate to the cause. Any extra money will be reinvested back into more videos and online education!
