©Daily Express: German election 2017 campaign posters

The German election is just a week away and the latest polls point to yet another victory for Angela Merkel. However, the surrounding political landscape is changing and other parties are vying for more space in the parliament.

What will the new Bundestag look like? How will the outcome affect the relations with Europe and the UK?

On Sunday 24 September, our Agora Think Tank is hosting a "German election day" event. This will feature an interactive "Cafés des idées" workshop, where we will look at the potential ramifications of the outcome. The screening of the election and a lively debate will follow.

Please join us to discuss the results and discover more about our young and disruptive think tank. The event is free, but registration is required to attend.
