Description

Gerry Hanley has played Irish traditional accordion from an early age. In 1980 he played in 17 cities in US/Canada as part of the CCE cultural tour group. Gerry played with many of the greats of the ’70s and was a regular on the Galway trad scene in the ’80s/90s before his career as an engineer took him to Sligo where he has lived for the past ten years. He now travels extensively and relishes the opportunity to meet musicians from all over the world and to exchange tunes and stories.
Sean Moloney is a flute player, teacher and composer from County Galway, Ireland. He comes from a long line of traditional flute players going back five generations and is one of the few remaining exponents of the Ballinakill East Galway regional style.
Sean has been recorded for the Irish National Folklore Archives and has produced five CDs, including one of his own compositions He is accompanied by his wife Irene on the bodhrán.
