We are not a registered charity, can we still attend?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we will consider funding to charities, community groups and CICs. You will need to provide a recent bank statement for your organisation and if you are a Community Group or CIC then we will also ask for management accounts and your constitution.

Question 2

When will the grants programme be open and completed?

Accepted Answer

We will open for applications on February 15th 2024 and close on March 22nd 2024. Applications are shortlisted for review by the Grant Committee in early April and final approval is given by the Board of Trustees on the 24th April. Funds will be transferred in early May.

Question 3

Do you fund unrestricted?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we welcome core costs/unrestricted funding applications. Please note though, that to be eligible, your organisation must explicitly work with older adults. We will always try to be flexible to your needs and are happy to speak with you further if needed. We do NOT fund unrestricted to CICs.

Do you fund in Northern Ireland

No, our funding is split into six regions, Scotland, Wales, North, Midlands, London/South East and Southern.

Question 5

Can I reapply if previously rejected?

Accepted Answer

Yes, as we have refined our criteria. However, we would advise you to check thoroughly that your organisation is fully eligible and aligned with our criteria. Please pop us an email with any questions and we can advise.

Question 6

Can we apply if previously successful?

Accepted Answer

Yes, but you can only receiving funding for two financial years consecutively (November to November in our case). Please contact us if you have received funding before.

Will there be time for questions?

Accepted Answer

Yes, please feel free to ask any questions in the chat during the session and we will cover these off at the end of the presentation section.

Will the meeting be recorded?

Accepted Answer

Providing we can get the tech to work, yes! We will record the session and then post it on our website.
