Join our free two day course and recruitment event where you will learn about the role of a Biomedical Support Worker and the important and exciting part they play in hospital services.

You will also get the opportunity to interview for roles with University Hospital Southampton who are hiring right now!

WHO: Young people aged 18-30 who are motivated and ready to work!

WHEN: Tuesday 15th - Wednesday 16th December.

WHERE: Take part remotely from home using your phone or computer via Zoom!

STEP 1 - GET READY

On 15th to 16th December, you will learn about life in the Health and Social Care Sector, the role your applying for, responsibilities, and career pathways currently available. You will also:

• Learn about the role of a Biomedical Support Worker and the important and exciting part they play in hospital services
• Develop your employability and interview skills
• Interview for roles with University Hospital Southampton
• Receive 6 months Prince's Trust Mentor support to help you transition and sustain employment
• Access to small funding to help you overcome barriers into work

STEP 2 - GET HIRED

On 16th December, you will have video interviews with the University Hospital Southampton for the Biomedical Support Worker roles they are recruiting for.

After your interviews, we will call you to let you know whether any of the employers wish to progress with your application. Even if you have not been selected, you will get feedback from every interview to help you improve!

STEP 3 - YOUR CAREER

We will continue to support you in all your applications. You will also have access to a dedicated Prince's Trust employability contact to coach you on your journey to employment for up to 6 months.

Once in employment you will be offered free mentoring support during the first 3 months of employment to help you reach success in the role, as well as financial support with DBS checks and travel expenses.
