Do you find small talk a waste of time yet you want to get better at connecting with others? Do you want to connect with people in real life rather than just on social media?

Course Objectives:

· To understand the point of ‘small talk’ in building relationships

· To learn top tips for connecting with others without a screen

Who is it for?

This workshop is for anyone fed up of connecting via a screen and social media platforms.

Cost: £30 per person, or £15 per person from businesses based at one of the Hethel Innovation Sites. For example if your business is based at any of these locations; Hethel Engineering Centre, Scottow Enterprise Park, or Broadland Food Innovation Centre. Course Content:

This workshop has been designed to get you out from behind the screens and connect with others. A fun, informal session of understanding why social interaction with others can be confusing, frustrating and scary and top tips to take away to start to reconnect with people in real life.

Expect ridiculous comments about the weather and a light hearted look at human behaviour.
