About this event

Hosted by Student Wellbeing and Disability Advice,you will be welcomed into an informal and comfortable open-plan room and will have the opportunity to connect with others through shared activities. You can ask questions about the support available to you in a quiet and relaxed environment. There will always be staff from Student Services there to provide advice and information and smaller, private rooms available to speak to staff if needed.

Here's what you can expect:

  • Info and Advice - There will always be members of staff from Student Services available to answer any of your questions.
  • Games and Activities - Fun and relaxing games and activities - but there is no pressure to take part
  • Friendly Faces and Helpful Chats - meet others who are looking to connect in a quieter environment
  • Free Refreshments - Hot and cold drinks and biscuits are free to enjoy

Please Note - No booking is required, this is a Drop In event - but if you do want to book using this Eventbrite, you will get email reminders, updates if there are any changes, and it can help us plan for numbers so the biscuits don’t run out!

Do I have to take part in the games and activities?

Not at all - they are there as an invitation - sometimes it can be nice to stay a while and chat with staff and other students whilst playing a game or being involved in a craft activity - but there is no pressure to do that.

Where exactly is the event being held ?

The event is being held on the 1st floor of University House.

Will there be a quiet and private space to ask questions?

Yes - we will have quiet and private spaces where our staff will be available to have a chat so you can ask questions and get the information you need. We’ll also be providing links to register with our services to ensure you can then be offered further appointments.
