GET CREATIVE - A SKILLS BASED TRAINING PROJECT ACROSS CORNWALL FUNDED BY THE EU

Cornwall Film Festival, FREE (£5 refundable deposit*) skills workshops are a fantastic chance to jump in and try something new, there workshops will cover a whole range of media training opportunities provided by a series of industry professionals across a range of genres including, but not limited to: photography, animation, advertising, digital content, television and film production.


In this session we will cover basic media skills including. Vloging, making a video for social media and how to conduct and interview.

This event is taking place at the Fowey Town Hall, and is led by an experianced freelancer filmmaker and producer.

PLEASE NOTE: This is an old building with restricted access.

This programme of events is aimed at: Employed females, Participants aged 40 and over, Participants from ethnic minorities, Participants with disabilities & single adult household with dependent children. Although all are welcome.

Please bring a form of ID to these events for registration purposes, this could include any one of the following: Passport, Birth/Adoption certificate, N.I card, Marriage certificate, HMRC Letter.

The project is receiving up to £36,713 of funding from the European Social Fund and Youth Employment Initiative as part of the 2014-2020 European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme in England. What should I bring into the event?

Notebook, pens, paper all the normal things. If you have a smart phone or digital camera that records video do feel free to bring that along as well.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Nope, save the paper.

Where should I park?

Fowey has very limited car parking near the venue, we suggest using public transport if possible, alternativerly visit: www.fowey.co.uk/visitor-information/driving-to-fowey/parking-in-fowey

How much is it to attend?

This workshop is free however we are having to charge a £5 refundable deposit to ensure those who have signed up attend. When you attend we will refund you the money.

Please note that the £5.00 charge for this event is a deposit that will be refunded to you as long as you attend the event. If you do not attend the event then your deposit will not be refunded unless you provide us with at least 24 hours notice.
