Suitable for S1-S3 pupils
National Museum of Scotland (Edinburgh): Mon 21-Tues 22 Nov 2016, Mon 8-Thur 11 May 2017
Pupils will discover more about renewable energy in Scotland through a series of hands-on, group-work activities. The day will provide an introduction to the range of renewable energies in Scotland, followed by the chance for pupils to build their own hydro turbine, and engineer a wave technology model. Find out more about the Days here.
Pupils work in teams of 3 pupils to complete the challenges. The maximum number of pupils we can accommodate in one day is 36 pupils.
As this is an all day event, pupils are automatically booked into our cloak and lunchroom as part of the day.
