About this Event
This online session is for anyone who is considering a career in primary or secondary teaching, based in Surrey or surrounding counties.
Our SCITT team will lead an interactive presentation that covers:
- the difference between the training routes
- the day to day life of a trainee teacher in one of our placement schools
- the support you will receive from us to help you become the best teacher you can be
- what makes George Abbot SCITT an Ofsted Outstanding training provider and how this can make a difference to your training experience
- the qualifications, skills and attributes we are looking for in successful applicants
- tips on making your personal statement stand out from the crowd
- the financial support you may be eligible for
We will be happy to answer any questions you have about teacher training or the application process, or how these might work with your own personal circumstances.
In some sessions, our past and present trainees will be online to answer your questions on their experiences on the application process and the realities of teacher training.
This is a free event for which registration is required. The event will be held online via Zoom and further details and joining instructions will be provided to all those registered at least 24 hours prior to the event.
